What we do

Whatever format it's locked in, we can bring it forward.

Three decades of analog formats, handled in one local studio. We clean each piece, scan it at archival resolution, and quietly repair the damage time leaves behind.

Why local

The difference is custody.

A national mail-in service asks you to seal irreplaceable originals in a box and trust the postal system both ways. We never ask that.

Nothing leaves the county

Your originals stay in Severna Park from drop-off to pickup. They are never packed into a truck and shipped to a warehouse in another state.

Digitized in-house

Every scan happens on our own equipment, by the same person who logged it in. No third-party subcontractors ever touch your collection.

A name, not a queue

You work directly with the archivist handling your project — by email, by phone, or across the counter. Questions get a real answer.

Local turnaround

Most orders are ready in 5–10 business days, with 48-hour rush available. Drop-off and pickup are arranged around the Baltimore–Washington corridor.

How it works

Three steps. You stay in the loop the whole way.

01

Drop off or ship

Bring your box to the Severna Park studio, or arrange a local pickup. Everything is logged and photographed the day it arrives, so you always know what we hold.

02

We digitize & quality-check

Each piece is hand-cleaned and scanned at archival resolution, then reviewed frame by frame. Fragile and damaged items get conservation care, not a conveyor belt.

03

Originals & files come home

Your originals return exactly as they came, alongside a USB drive and a Google Drive or Dropbox link. The files are organized, labeled, and yours to keep.

Care & handling
We treated a funeral home's hundred-year-old portrait collection like it was our own. Every plate came back intact — and finally backed up.

Originals are stored in archival sleeves while in our care, logged against your order, and handled with cotton gloves where the material calls for it. We carry insurance on every collection we hold.
